I had sold an item, for which the payment was not sent by the seller. i raised the dispute, and finally got an "final value credit". can anyone explain what this final value credit is?? does it mean that i get my money from ebay?

Hello tariquesid,

The moment someone buys your product ebay charges you transaction fee irrespective of whether the Buyer pays or not.

ebay gives 7 days time to the Buyer to pay the amount.

After that you can file an Un-Paid Item dispute (UPI).

Then ebay sends pop-up message to the buyer to pay but if he doesn't turn up then you are eligible to file for refund of the transaction fee.

You may then close the dispute and get back your transaction fees.
