Hello,
Lets Learn from each other's expertise.
I am starting this thread where contributions from everybody is expected.
May it be the Champions of Baazee ERA OR the New Comers.
Helpful ebay Staff members too are requested to show their presence.
The purpose of this thread is to put forward your expertise / knowledge which you think would be helpful to other members.
It may be Tips .....which may help in Selling better.
It may be pointing out..... the best Courier Company for National Selling.
It may be the best email service available.
It may be something related to Computers, Windows, Anti-virus, Ad-ware, spy-ware.
It may be something which others shouldn't do .....unknowingly.
Anything which you think would be helpful to others.
Just don't think that a particular TIP is quite common ....there may be someone who might be benefitted out of that.
MY CONTRIBUTION
I am giving you a small TIP ......many of you must be aware of this. But I still feel that there may be few who are un-aware of this.....
For All those who are using Windows XP and find that the system takes too long to BOOT UP.
Also, when you shut down ....the system takes time.
This may be due to many Items place in the start up.
That is..... many icons placed at the right hand bottom........ near the clock.
Icons of skype, Blinking net connection, webshots, Anti-virus, Bit meter, fax, MSN messanger...etc etc..
This slows down the machine quite a lot.
There may be many, who have higher configuration with higher RAM, but still the TIP may be useful.
Just HIBERNATE the system while closing.
For this.... Click start
Click...Turn off Computer.
Press SHIFT.
The Standby button would change to Hibernate.
Keeping the shift pressed ...left click HIBERNATE.
This will save your current desktop state to your hard disk so that you can resume where you left off, than shuts down your computer.
HOPING TO SEE MORE TIPS ON THIS THREAD.
regards

Yes, this problem is faced by quite a number of Sellers.
You cannot get the difference through PaisaPay.
Also, the Buyer normally doesn't understands that this was due to problem in the system.
I normally charge Flat rate Courier for both Local and National shipping.
This may discourage local Buyers when the difference in Local & National is more.
In case you feel that your Local sales are few then you may adopt this method of Flat Rate Courier. In case some local Buyer makes a purchase then you can always offer some discount on shipping. .

One of my buyer Call me over telephone that she had received item in damaged condition, But I had send it in good condition after checking. Then I told her to send back the product and get money back. This is the incident of 16/03 But today she gave me negative feed back and mail me writing abuse words. By reply mail I also Inform her today to get money back and withdraw Negative feedback. Can you help me how can I convince her to withdraw feedback? She don't understand Hindi or English properly.

It too discouraging to get a negative Feedback at the start of ones ebay career. But there is nothing to worry about it ..... am sure you will be able to mutually solve it and convince the Buyer to mutually withdraw the Feedback.
Looking at the feedback left by your Buyer.... it seems there shouldn't be a language problem. Just keep on writing a couple of mails and tell her that you are ready to refund the whole amount including return charges. Or you would be happy sending a fresh piece.
Do try to contact her over phone and solve the problem.
It seems the Item has got damaged in transit and Buyer is disturbed.
In case nothing happens after a coupe of weeks then file a case with ODR. You are a sincere Seller and ready to solve the issue then your rights must be protected. But you will have to bear the expense of Rs.500 for filing a Feedback withdrawal case with ODR.
There is still NO guarantee that the Feedback would be removed but you can always give it a try .... as chances of getting it removed through mediation is quite high.
For more help you may write back. .

I think with the introduction of Listing Fees .... there is more pressure on ebay India .... then on the Sellers.
That's because ebay India cannot survive with lesser number of Sellers ..... but most of the Sellers can survive without ebay India.
There are not very many Sellers whose bread & butter is ebay India .... as of today. But ebay India's bread & butter is from Indian Sellers .... yes, until and unless they keep getting financial support from the parent company.
So don't worry about the increased Fee structure ... the need of the hour is to change your strategy accordingly.
It may take time to adjust but ultimately the Sellers would gain a lot.
Now there would be only serious Sellers on the site and if ebay India don't take care about the growth of the Sellers, UPI, Buyer's verification and other imporatnt issues ... then only GOD can save ebay India. .

eBay charges for additional images(.in has 3 free images but .com has only 1 free image). This technique can help you have unlimited free images on ebay and many other places.
http://tutorials.photobucket.com/tutorial_50.html
Concept :
1)You upload the images to photobucket which is free
2)Take the URL provided by photobucket of that image and include it in your description. So the image becomes part of the description.

YOU SAY THAT EBAY IS NOT THE BREAD AND BUTTER FOR MOST SELLERS BUT FOR SOME IT DEFINITELY IS. SECONDLY YOU DO AGREE THAT SELLERS ARE NOT PROECTED ON EBAY.SO IF MORE SELLERS SPEAK UP WE CAN BW PROTECTED.
