Hi India Calling

Sorry for some late in replying you.
So far I know paypal registration needs either Credit Card or a Debit Card and your Bank Account Information.
So if you don’t have any Credit Card you can go for registration by using Debit Card.

Dear Sharmaji

Sorry for some late in replying you.

1. In India PaisaPay is legal but Paypal still not incorporated with eBay.in as Payment method.
2. Westernunion Money Transfer is risky as there is no documentary proof in such payment method. I would suggest you to defer from this method as far as possible to avoid risk.
3. Moneybookers, CCavenue, Payseal can not be used in listing on eBay.in. But I don’t have any knowledge about eBay.com whether it is allowed with listing or not. As till date I never list in eBay.com site.

Dear Shimoga

When you have Debit Card, so I can assume you should have Net Banking facility. So you can make payment by using on-line bank transfer.

Dear Rahul

As suggested to essech, sale can’t boost overnight. Assume you have open a merchandize shop in a crowdie market. What you should do to boost your sale?
1. You have to quote the product price lowest in the market obviously without compromising the quality and service, I want to mean you have to start selling with a low profit margin.
2. You have to provide good customer support.
3. You have to provide some attractive free goodies with every purchase.
4. You have to promote your shop in the market by means of banner, hoardings etc.
5. You have to display your products in the showcase attractively.
6. You have to provide different payment methods, e.g. Cheque, Credit Card, Cash etc.
7. Warranty/Replacement guaranty on the products where applicable.
Etc. etc…… and sure one day your sale will boost.
All of the above are investment for your business.
Similar cases are here in eBay to boost your sale.
In point 2, you should have to provide free after sale service to the customer. And delivery, which is most vital part in on-line selling, must be secure and in time.
In case of Point 4, you can do the same by using various Enhanced Listing Features provided by eBay.
In case of point 5, you have to keep in mind that customer can’t touch your item, they can only view your products electronically. So, image and description of the product must be exact as what you intend to sale.
One main thing you should have to keep in mind that always maintain Quality, Price, Timings in Service. Feedback will come automatically.
Regarding PaisaPay I can assure it is 100% safe and secure. Most of on-line buyer in India prefer this type payment method. From the buyers point of view this payment method is hassle free.

Dear Jaco_don

You can not cancel your bid after win. There are, however, a few exceptional circumstances under which you may retract a bid.
Please visit the link for more details about circumstances:

Hi Parmeet2k

First of all I didn’t understand how you have a credit on eBay.

As a buyer you are not making any transaction with eBay.

But as a seller you can have seller account with eBay where you may have credit on eBay. In that case it can be realize with your fees.

Another way if you activate for PaisaPay account(its free now). In that case eBay will pay you weekly by sending cheque.

Hi,

Nice to know you are also from Kolkata.

I had a bad experience last week regarding a delivery by courier. Just want to know if such things are extremely rare or you are aware of previous instances.

I had sent a parcel containing some semi-precious gems to Bangalore thru DTDC courier. But the buyer received the parcel except the gems !! The small pouch, packing materials, Invoice, all were there sans gems. I have used DTDC to send gems earlier also and regularly receive gems thru them. So I was stunned. I have not received any notification from DTDC. Meanwhile the buyer's parcel has been recd by his office without any comment on the POD. So I am not complain to courier also. Is such incidence extremely rare or you have some similar experience? Since I have sent him the set again, Free, by Speed Post but would like to have your comment.

. Best Regards 🙂
