How to take pictures of Gem Stones

Hi Folks,

I am Amitabh and I work with eBay. I want to sell some gemstones but I am having difficulty in taking good pictures.Can you please help me?

I beleive the light reflecting from the surface of the objct is your problem.

However a few points to remember are

1. Use natural light
i.e. avoid flash

2. Use a single colour background.

3. Getting a right angle is difficult but try till you suceed.

will take time but its easy to get through !!
