There are a few things you can do to increase traffic to your ebay product listing.
1. Proper and relevant titles.
Example if you are listing a television, instead of just putting in the title 28" television for sale
if you put it as
28" Panasonic flat screen television Model xyz You attract more searches towards your auction and more chance of a sale.
2 Make sure you atleast have a picture of the item for sale and while you are listing click on Gallery picture.
A picture catches the eye of the customer to your auction when they are on the ebay search results page.
3. Featured listings, subtitles, category featured listings do increase the hits on your auction , but you have pay more listing fee. So these should be selected judiciously. If am selling a High Value item or if I have more than one item on sale I use these enhancements.
3. Once You have enough feedbacks to open a shop, Do so.
Then browse to your my Ebay page , there is a link "manage my shop"
If you follow that link click on " search engine keywords" Set up right keywords for each category in your shop.
There is another link on the same page " Listing feeds". Click to activate the shop feed and also make the shop inventory listings avaialble. These settings will increase traffic from the search engines.
4. Also there is a link to activate mailing lists on the same page. If you activate it and post it on all your auctions ... You can mail all your subscribers when you list a new item or when you are doing a new promotion, which will bring more customers.
