HELP NEEDED - PAYMENT MADE SELLER STOPPED RESPONDING -VIMAL_CELLULAR

I need the help of well wishers so that I can get back my money or the product. I deposited cheque to UTI Bank a/c in Delhi to to his friends saving a/c (amoounting to Rs. 13011), as per his direction for an N72 mobile (used). On the clearing the cheque I could contact his no. and he told me that I have instructed the boy to scan the consignee note and send in mail. But afterwards his phone no. coming as switched off. No mail responding. He is definitely a fraud. How can I get back my money. Is ebay can contact him and get the product.

All ebay users beware don't send payment to small sellers until and unless you got enough evidence that he has a proper shop and proper contact and convinging yourself before payment.

I suggest EBAY should collect the payment and get the item from the seller and ebay should send the item themself.

Do suggest How I could get back my hard earned money.

Hello Sudarsan,

The safest payment method is to pay via PaisaPay where you get protection upto Rs.50,000.

For other methods you get protection upto Rs.10,000.

But the blunder you did was to deposite the amount in Seller's Friends account.

I don't think you will be able to get your money back.

You may write to customer support and see what the have to say.

Pls help me in this case....

I won 1 Imate sp3i phone via bidding from Acefones, and the seller was having a 10star rating, as the online option via paisapay was not available, he asked me to do online transfer only through ICICI and as i dont have an account with ICICI, deposited money to his account of 6330/- ....next day i dont see him on E-bay, and shows not an exisitng usedr, and the mails sent by e-bay saying i was the winning bidder and other communication of this deal vanished from my account. I saved a couple of msgs and his communication done with me. His details sent were
ICICI Bank.

Please make the Online Transfer only if you transfer from an ICICI account.

Or else, please deposit cash to the above account.

Please help me how to go about to get my money/product back. E-bay is not respoding to my porblem.

Hi,

You should file a dispute immediately as detailed by Umang (indconcepts). By that you will recover atleast part of the defrauded amount. Its best to pay those deals thru PaisaPay. That ensures full refund. In your case you are likely to get a refund of Rs.9950 after due verifications. .

Hi,

As you are also from Delhi so you may consider to register a complain with the police and file a case. It may be difficult to recover the money as you have deposited the money in the friend's account of the seller. Always stick to PaisaPay for large payments. .
