Do I have to Pay ebay their fees if the buyer is not going to buy?

Hi

I had an item listed and a person bought it. Then I sent the person the invoice. Then he does not call back and when I contact him, he is lost on what I'm talking about and then when it finally hits him that he went on ebay and booked the item he tells me that he is no longer interested.

Now do I still have to pay Ebay their fees for this? If I remove the item from "Item's I've sold" list will it credit my account? Right now it shows that I owe Ebay 100 bucks for the item I have sold when actually I have not.

Please help.

Hi,
You need not to pay eBay selling fees for the unpaid items. Just click the small downward arrow appearing beside the Sold item. You will find one link to Report Unpaid items. Just click that to open a Dispute and on closure of the Dispute, your selling fees will be credited back. Its better known as FVF Credit (Final Value Fee Credit) in eBay jargon.
The above does not apply for the listing fees. Best Regards 😄

Under "Dispute Status" ... it says "Other party's action needed" ... so how do I close the dispute?
