Cheated by the seller and Ebay

I bought a cellphone online for 9100. The seller did not send me the cellphone. I contacted ebay but all I got were autogenerated responses. I escalated the matter to a claima nd got a response after almost 2 months asking me to fax details to the payment (Online bank transfer). The fax number they sent me was incorrect. everytime I try to fax, it says that the number does not exist. I hav tried from different systems.
I wrote back to tell them that their fax no. was incorrect but they have not responded. I fear that my claim will be closed and my money will not be refunded. Please help.
I never want to transact on Ebay henceforth. They have lost my trust completely.

Sorry to hear about your loss. It would help other buyers if you could publish the name of your seller.

Also please dont refrain from going to the police and/or the press. Ebay has legal and moral responsibility to safeguard buyers' money and sellers' goods.
