Authenticity of transactions on EBay

Friends,

its amazing to see that people had purchased windows xp pro. with license key for just Rs 50/-. Is that OS really genuine? Is those purchase support Microsoft's auto updates?

If any of u had purchased such software from eBay please let me know.

Without first hand knowledge of the item, eBay is unable to guarantee the accuracy of the listing information. eBay encourages members who are interested in bidding on an item to email the seller for additional information. You will never get a original one at Rs.50. The original Windows CDs are of more than Rs.3000/- ---------------

Hi,
Such softwares are illegal but more common in India than the original ones. They do support most of the updates too.
eBay has some system to prevent such pirated sales but it does not seem to work perfectly. Trust the system will be full proof in near future. .
