A comics seller from UP cheated me

Last monday(9/1/06) I purchased two sets of e-comics worth Rs 500 each from a zook_1981 (from UP). I paid using PaisaPay. He agreed to send the stuffs via courier on monday itself. I have not yet received the stuffs.Today I logged into ebay to check the status, and found out that this guy is now no longer a registered user !!!!!
It's not that getting frauded out of Rs 1000 would leave me a pauper. What rankles me most is that , this guy claimed to be fellow comic-afficiando, had a lengthy chat regarding comics, and then cheats me and I like a fool gets cheated, for pursuing my hobby.
I had purchased lots of e-Comics from UK - worth 200 pounds, and inspite of me being in India, and they being in UK, they kept their word and I received my stuffs in perfect order and now I get cheated by a fellow Indian for a paltry sum of 1000!!!!
I made a formal complaint to eBay, let's see what transpires.

Hi,

A couple of times I have recd items from sellers who were not registered with eBay at that time. Hope it will happen with you also. Considering the ID-holiday this week, I think you still have good chances of receiving the courier from the seller, especially if he has choosen a bad courier.

If you don't receive the items within (say) 2 weeks then just file an item not recd dispute with eBay for each of the items not recd. You will get back Rs.450 against each. If you have paid by credit card then its better to intimate the customer care of your card issuing Bank when you put your complain on eBay for item not recd.

So, hope for the best but be prepared for the worst !!

I withdraw my complaint and apologize to zook_1981 for thinking him to be a cheat. Just now I received my stuffs. It was delayed by the couriers.
I worked in haste, as I found out that he is no longer a registered member.
