Why have only the buyers been given the option of giving a Negative eedback to sellers and why cant a seller give negative feedback to a buyer who does not honour his deals and completes the transactions. Some buyers dont communicate, others make late payments or no payments at all. Sometimes the items are returned to the seller and the buyer says he/she was not at home. Is all this not unfair to the Seller. Why have the sellers been put to the mercy of Busyers who sometimes are very unreasonable just because they know that the seller cannot give negative feedback.

Yes it is unfair that ebay gives an option of - ve only to buyer.Please ebay do some thing regarding this for sellers

I want to put my experience of buyer...
1. Always paid in advance - even when the payment was direct to the seller.
2. in most of the cases - sellers respond to queries and also shipment issues - like I am off to a tour for 10 days.
3. Courier company will usually call - as the number is there on the shipping details.
However - I agree that is a need for a feedback system for the buyer also.
Also buyer to be identified by more than just the log in - as that can be changed.
