India Post Tracking numbers not updating the status of the articles

Hi All,

I am new to e-bay and sent several products to US buyers through India Post Registered Airmail around 25 days before. However, none of them are delivered and none of them shows the updated status through tracking number provided. It only shows that the article has been bagged at Mumbai Airport on USPS website and on the IPS website of India Post.

If you have experienced similar issues than please share the same...

Does the IPS website of India Post and USPS shows the delivery notification?

If yes, then how much time does it take for the article to reach US from India though Registered Airmail?

What happens if the website is not updated with the delivery notification but the article may be actually received by the buyer?

Any help would be appreciated....

i have sent a product by air mail to England on 27/10/2011
it have not delivered yet

for registered items they WILL NOT updated. they are as lazy as donkeys.

BUT YOU CAN TRACK BOTH EMS(SPEED PPOST) & REGISTERED AIRMAIL IN THE DESTINATION COUNTRY'S POSTAL WEBSITE USING THE ID GIVEN ON THE POSTAL RECEIPT.
MOST OF THE TIME I FIND THE STATUS UPDATED ON FOREIGN SITES.
