the ganesh chaturthi promoctions didnt work

i bought a samsung note Rs 28390 but when i entered the coupon code it didnt work i went ahead thinking that it may ask me later but it still didnt work i dont know if its a scam , pls let me know how can i get enrolled in that promotion also if i am not getting enrolled can i get a detailed explanation for this ......i swear its disheartening to do shopping like this where u know , u are shopping and things not working at your end .

ebay promotions do not work on few of the items that are priced comparatively less. If you try to checkout another samsung note of some higher value, say around 30000 or 32000, then you might see that the promotions work.

But the main problem is that whether eBay is actually going to send those free gifts...If not, I would definitely go to the consumer court as my relatives are also working there.

You paid for the item and the gift is free. You received the item but not the gift. Since you didn't pay anything for the gift, you are not a consumer. Thus, you can only claim for the item if you haven't received it. And that's why they are called gifts.

@onlyshweta... I am not stopping anyone from going to the consumer court against eBay. I am just posting my views on gifts. I'll be very happy if anyone gets justice using the consumer court.
