In the option prospect is supposed to search for items of interest. Multiple entries normally bore the customer to get out.More so the items such as jewellery's, sarees etc are so many time repeated .Instead of customer opting to see secluded products please develop an option whereby the customer can decide "what not to see" so that not only he sees what he wants but also others which he may get tempted to buy /consider.

That is 100% right multiple enteries must be closed by Ebay as the buyer lose his eagerness to hunt for his product. Also due to multiple entries, pages count down increases and some seller listings may not be able to view to Buyer.. Only 1 listings per product with multiple nos must must be started by Ebay. As one product sells, the listing does not close down.

ebay.com already implemented this duplicate listing policy. but in ebay.in when you search for a product now the results shows based on the time ending soon. This makes all sellers to list multiple items based on the time. Ebay.in is planned to implement best match results soon, which will show only best matching products regardless of the listing end time. These will give good results to buyer with variety of items with out repeating same item. Even sellers creating multiple listings of the same item will not showed on the top. Lets see how it will work...
