I ordered a micromax canvas hd phone on ebay. the seller was purple inc from banglore.
he put in fake shipping details to save the order and told me that he has not shipped the item and will ship it next week. Next week he called me to say that he has cancelled the order as the stock recieved was not good ( he faked again). He never updated the status of the order on ebay.
Whenever i contacted him he gave me some sweet talk and also said that he would come up with an offer in a weeks time in which the mobile would cost 2000 Rs less.
Now when I started following up with e-bay they said i have to wait for the full period before i can claim refund. this was ridiculous on ebays part as the seller had already informed them that the order was cancelled.
They told me that if seller initiated the refund i would get it in 2 to 3 days. i never understood how seller could initiate a refund if the money was still with ebay as the item had not been shipped. Now when i claimed the refund ebay told me that it would take 5 days for approval as its the process. What the hell is this process i dont understand. They approved it after 7 days and it took 5 more days to get deposited in my account. Ebay is using the money of there buyers in the name of this processes.
