srjsms: wen i bid on any item i get a msg that says " buying activity limit reached. now i have bought two items that i have paid for already...
srjsms: there are no items that i have not paid for. i am bidding on 5 items....it isnt fair to place a limit on the bids..since we do not know the outcome of the bids
srjsms: i guess the limit should be placed if there are 5 unpaid items.. my Ccard gives me a purcahse limit of 100,000. my SBI card has a limit of 50,000

srjsms: now there are no unpaid items here in my case. i have bid on 5 items....neither u nor i know the outcome of the same
Mike V.: Since you are currently experiencing activity limits can remove these limits by:

Mike V.: Verifying their identity.Accountholders may be given the opportunity to verify through SMS verification or by giving a valid credit card number (Mastercard or Visa only at this time), or other options that eBay may offer in the future.
Note: Not all members will be given these options.

Mike V.: -Receiving positive feedback. Positive feedback is often a good indicator of a member's likelihood of paying for items they have committed to buy. Members who have received positive feedback tend to have lower Unpaid Item rates.

its soo very frustrating with these kinda replies...u mail customer service... they cause discomfort by apologising for the discomfort... come on guys...call a call centre of a bank or even airtel u get a much much better personalised resposnse!!

James Bond days - there used to be Fem-bots = female robots who act, talk, reply in a mechanical manner.....maybe ebay has just bought a few of them thru the collectibles section of this website and is putting them to use in the customer care and live help department!!!;-)

Amitava...nuthings wrong with me.... i just want to show how things work....some of the sellers here like Navneeth..praise ebay to the skies....and their policies....some people like u choose to be neutral.....being a strong consumer activisit i always praise when theres some good and criticise when the policies are bad. what would your opinion be if ebay didnt reply to a Regisgtered Post acknowlegement Due sent to the legal department ? even after one month, which had serious matters detailed in it.?

I will be happy to help you list your item on eBay. Listing an item is easy - you'll love it! Here's what to do...

1. Prepare for listing your item:

* consider which eBay category you'll list the item under
* consider how you will describe your item
* store any pictures you may have of the item in your computer

2. Go to the 'Sell Your Item' page. This can be found by clicking Sell at the top of any eBay page.

3. There are five pages on the Sell Your Item form:
Page One: Selecting a category for your item Page Two: Entering a description for your item Page Three: Entering general details such as listing duration and adding a picture to your listing Page Four: Payment and Shipping Options for buyers Page Five: Confirmation page (displays all information you've entered, for you to double-check and confirm)

Hi,
The Live chat is the best customer care thing offered by ebay. The email system is too slow to expect anything from it. There are 1-2 bad cases in 100 case but in my case i had chatted atleast 20 times, always my problem was solved.
I hope ebay will increase the live chat days to saturday also.
