inceswebhelp does not confirm its oral advice given over phone

One customer purchased Camera from me. Within minutes I got email from ebay cautioning about the transaction. I contacted eBay and clarified to know that something was not in order and I was advised not to ship. But the order was never cancelled. So I contacted again eBay and got advice not to ship as the buyer has violated ebay policy. I wanted a confirmation of their advice. I am yet to get any update over this matter for the past one month. In the mean time refund initiated by system and refund given to buyer. I have not been give FVC so far. I have applied for FVC and awaiting for response for several days. It is very curious to note that eBay does not come forward to confirm their own advice over mail. This is not a fair practice as it is a subjective decision of ebay customer support personnel. eBay should have cancelled that particular sale if their decision was based on any company policy decision. Subjective advices given by the Customer support should find a place in the record so that it would help monitor later.

inrswebhelp will only give you a lame and canned response. I recommend that you contact facebook@eBay.com and mention in the subject line: Attn Brady.

Then mention your grievance and ask Brady to investigate and follow-up with eBay India.

Do not expect eBay India to help you. Unless you speak to someone responsible and knowledgeable, your issue is not going to get resolved.

I had a selling restriction for 6 months which eBay India and the product managers could not find out why. It was finally resolved when I contacted Brady on facebook@ebay.com
