finicky.sellers-Fraud seller,selling cheap chinese stuff-claiming as orig

I recently bought a Motorola bluetooth, which I thought was an original Motorola,since he claimed it as original in the listing. When I got the product it was a cheap chinese fake bluetooth headset,and not a MOTOROLA product at all. I reported this to seller and ebay. This seller after a long interaction thru mail,ph,etc agreed for a refund,but asked for a Positive feedback with 5 stars,for the refund.I informed ebay and left a negative feedback for the fraud seller.But, he went to community court and cheated ebay and took away the negative feedback. The seller is still selling the fake,cheap stuff claiming it an original product. I felt ,like ebay is supporting these type of sellers coz now no one else will be aware of the sellers like these coz,they will be seeing only +ve feedbacks in his profile thinking he is a genuine seller.
I dont know how poor buyers will get to knw sellers like this trying to cheat people, if buyers like us cannot express our diff atleast thru a negative feedback.
Why is ebay supporting this???

If you are convinced that the product is a counterfeit product then you can claim refund under "ebay guarantee program" and get your refund for this product.

I bought an electrical wind chime beleiving it is manufactured in United States (at least as per the advt.)What I found, is that it is manufactured in China.Considering it's country of origin, it is five to ten time overpriced.This is overwhelming; it discourages us to buy goods through e-Bay.

@samir i see you have purchased the same from GEB, why are u maligning indian sellers, we are in noway associated with GEB. globaleasybuy is a import hub run by clearing agents, no indian sellers are running it.

All goods are imported from destination u.s. now even in u.s.a most goods available are made in china only.and because it comes all the way round crossing half the globe, the voyage fees of the goods are taken from you.

Why dont you instead buy from ebay.in indian sellers only instead of importing same goods available with indian sellers at 1/10th price, you are getting the same from u.s.a , obviously it will be 10 times more priced because the goods have roamed across half the golbe before coming into your hands, thus the fuel charges will be taken from you only.

Also please note i checked the item description nowhere it says the wind chime is made in u.s.a, its a global world, it doesnot mean if you get goods from u.s.a you will get made in u.s.a goods, unless the seller has claimed that way.

Are all the indian sellers selling goods made in india, the same logic applies, unless, its specified , donot take it from granted, that its made in that country.

Dubai was a major tourist shopping hub, but everbody knew, if they buy from dubai, it doesnot mean, that its made in dubai , i hope even you knew that thing before buying.

What is ebay doing about all the sellers who brazenly ask for 5 star positive feedback - with threats that they will void all warranty on products if true feedback is left ?

Some fake sellers are selling cheap imported chinese stuff,demanding it as original, and ebay is not stopping them. These sellers after selling the product will start asking for 5 star rating and pos feedback, and when we ask for refund simply reject it.
these people should be banned!!!!!!!ebay shud put some kind of quality check measures,for sellers and their items...otherwise very soon ebay is going to be the worst shopping site in India

In dispute console open Item not as described case. Also call eBay customer support on their helpline and register a case in eBay guarantee claim. and follow their advice. You will get your money back if you have paid with Paisapay.

But most importantly Do not clutter Forum. Posting in 4 thread same thing does not gets attention of readers but it irritates them. There are also other people out there who may be in need and also who's problems may be equal or greater than your's . Even they may be asking for advice and when you put 4 threads on top with a same thing other posts are hidden.

In short please dont spam.

I request eBay team to give a couple of senior sellers moderating privileges for community Boards. I see that eBay Pinks are barely visible, so let community clean itself like in all other public Boards. Other eBayers please provide your views on this suggestion.

Also their can be a grading system in place of eBayer in community boards - Like one in the link below-

(Please dont refer the content in the link as I dont intent to publicize that But I am referring to the titles provided to every username on the left hand sides just below the user names. for eg- ac well settled/ on temorary visa etc.)

Remember what makes eBay unique amongst all other shopping portals is that its a community shopping portal. And its high time that such steps are taken to ensure that community values are maintained and eBay maintains its uniqueness.
