eBay is not guaranteeing for product quality and money reimbursement

I bought a product called “12 Color Glitter Nail Art Acrylic Powder” on 12/Oct/15 at ebay.in for the amount of 258.00 INR (including shipping charge).

 

Initially the item was not delivered until its due date, which was set to 19/Oct/15.

Hence I raised an Claim ID : 1355322 for not receiving the item.

Later the item was finally delivered on 23/Oct/15.

But my claim was REJECTED by ebay team and surprisingly this was not notified to me!

 

Later on it is found that the delivered product is not as described in the ebay website.

 

In the ebay product description, product picture gives the impression that it is a crisp glitter powder.

And the container is completely filled with the glitter.

 

Whereas the actual delivered product is like a colored fine flour having little shimmer here and there.

The real product is purely a colored dust and NOT a glitter, which cannot be applied on nails.

It is really a major health concern to apply some dust on nails!

When the lid is opened, most of the dust flies off. And the quantity in the container is so very less (not even half filled in the container).

 

Hence I wanted to return the product and get my money 100% reimbursed (Rs. 258.00).

So, I tried to open a new claim and found that ebay does allow only 1 claim per product!

And also since ebay has rejected and closed my old claim 1355322, I was unable to reopen it.

 

After checking for multiple options finally I opened an SR : 1-58055773838 with ebay customer care team on 5/Nov/15.

It’s been one long week since I have opened this SR and ebay team has not taken any action on it.

Every time I call to the customer care team, they are asking me to wait indefinitely and are acting irresponsible and not doing anything in order to get the reimbursement.

 

Hence I am looking towards consumer court to get the resolution immediately.

In this case neither the seller is taking responsibilities to my feedback nor ebay is taking responsibility for guaranteed money reimbursement.

They will never take an action. It is better to forget and then do no shopping from eBay. For a transaction of 9090/- the similar story happened with me. They people have a very poor customer support team and their resolution will never help the customer.
