Won item, but no details of seller.

I've just won an auction item and received notification by email. But the email does not give the seller's email address, phone number or detailed postal address.

When I click the "Contact seller" link on the notification email, it just opens the eBay messaging facility.

Is this a new practice by eBay? In the past, the notification always included at least the seller's email address. I'm reluctant to transfer the payment without knowing the seller's contact information.

To get Seller's contact info click on Advance Search.
Then under Members menu click on Find Contact Information.

I did the search and eBay immediately sent an automated reply. But it still gave only the same incomplete information as in my winning notification, i.e., the seller's full name and that he's from Mumbai. That's all.

I contacted the seller via eBay messaging and he sent the information I wanted. But I'm still surprised that eBay didn't supply the info.

Does eBay now allow registering with such incomplete information?
