WP7 is not completely supported in India i.e apps cannot be installed on WP7 phones in India since marketplace does not work in Indian WP7 phones.(You can read about this issue here: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2564553). Microsoft claims they will address this issue via an update(codenamed 'Mango') scheduled to release in Q4, 2011. However Q4 2011 can be as far out as Dec 31st 2011. Till that time you are stuck on a smartphone with no apps i.e. a glorified dumb phone. The listings for all WP7 mobiles(HTC HD7, HTC Mozart, etc.) should explicitly state that the Marketplace for downloading apps does not work in India presently and might not start working till Dec. 31st, 2011 because otherwise the listing is totally misleading and I would not mind filing a false advertisement case against such listings.
