Why sellers take buyers for a ride quite ofeten at ebay

I have been a active buyer of goods from Online stores from about 2yrs.I have been buying stuff from Rediff shopping and Timtara and never faced any problem so far.The reason being that they directly ship the goods to us while here at eBay the seller ships them and eBay is not aware of the product being shipped,its conformity with what's promised,time frame etc.I happened to order 3 products through eBay and am really in for a lot of stress having paid through paisepay and not getting the promised product and sending it for replacement and nothing working out and filing a claim in the eBay court besides shelling out 2oo bucks for returning the product by courier.Is it worth shopping here with all this harassment and lots of follow up???Please give a serious thought and change the system so that the buyer feels the whole affair hassle free and really enjoys shopping.

I would like to bring to your some of the problems we are facing here at the North East esp. at Manipur, that Sir recently I purchased an Item 400217666800, Dell 21.5" S2209W Wide LCD TFT Monitor Full HD 3 yr war. from ebay after payment via My PaisaPay, I was told I would receive the consignment after 1st June 2011. But on 31st June 2011 I received an Intimation that I would be refunded citing that Courier are not available and are not willing to give Insurance, the point I would like to highlight before you is that.
Will I be be able to make furthur purchase on Ebay because of non availability of Courier and not willing to give Insurance etc.
I place I am staying is located near IMPHAL which has got good connectivity via Flight and Road, and Imphal is the state capital like any other state capital all over India
I would be most grateful if you would enlighten me furthur in this regard.

The courier recieved didn't had the material ordered inside, it was empty. Packet was not torned as it didnt looked like, but had nicely adhesive taped to hide away the nicely cut part on the polybag, which can't be noticed. PaisaPay ID 28952829657

Pl change your address on eba and give the address of somebod close to you like friend or relative in IMPHAL. then make the purchases. It will be helpful to ou in receiving your products. Also pl track our courior docket number online.
