Why No Advertisement on T.V by eBay ?? :_|

Hello,
I always wonder why eBay do not advertise on T.V??
In Baazee Days we used to have many advertisement on T.v and it was giving much exposure too as most of the people are addicted to T.V,So it can attract buyers to buy item from eBay.

Other members are requested to post theit views and suggestions.

eBay has started to send SMS to mobile phones to promote great offers. Hope this is a move to start promoting eBay India nationwide and its next step would be TV Ads. Lets pray for it.

Hi,

In India ads on net can never be sufficient (unless ebay forays into matchmaking or ...... 😉 ). TV / News paper ads are must. At least when ebay conduct seminars or buyers / sellers meet in Web World / Hotels then they should negotiate to put a big banner outside. That will help both the participants to find out the location and will also increase new members. The earning offset the meager cost of such banners & display by many folds. .
