have time and again been coming across listings where the seller does specify the metal used for that particular piece of jewellery.
as a personal experience a pair of earring that i won, after use of not more than a week they look like artifical and not real, even if the diamonds used are real the metal used is certainly not gold and whatever is used is rotten !!!
