Waiting for Refund - close to a month now!!

Hi,
I have ordered a product on 12 Jan 2009 and then seller informed me the choice of product not available and hence will refund the money back.
But till today (6 Feb 2009) i have not got the refund back. Each time i ask ebay customer support they say contact the bank because ebay have confirmed the refund on 27 Jan 2009. But ebay does not give me the confirmation number reference on 27 Jan 2009, rather than giving me the PGIW/Order Id of the 12 Jan 2009 transaction where my money was debited.
Bank says they are only the faclitator and nothing to do, but to contact the merchant.
What is the next level? Whom should i take to?
When will i get the refund?

Iam yet to get my refund.
Its one month as of today (12 Feb 2009).
This is the complaint number 00185200

haryana_sale: I have checked it daily and that's the reason i ask paisapay. (Also had "Live Chat" very often)

Indraneel: Is there any update? Its one mont now?
All my discussions with "Live Chat" did not resolve the issue. I do not understand why the paisapay does not give me the reference number of 27 Jan 2009. (They say 27 Jan 2009 is when bank confirmed about the payment to paisapay). If that is so, why do they give me the order id number of 12 Jan 2009 when the amount was debited from my account? If i can get the reference number of 27 Jan 2009 (as claimed by ebay), then i can move forward.

Yes, I do have an update for you as below:

Refund approved on 26 Jan and bank debit date 27 Jan 2009. Order ID: 40226019.

I'm sure this will help you check with your bank on the status of the refund that has been already initiated from our end on 27th Jan 2009.

If you still face issues in getting your refund, I'll be always here just a post away :-).

Hi Indraneel,
I would like to reiterate here that, the number you gave me (and already had from number of "live chats" with all your customer care team) and the number is also available in my bank account.
But the number shows the debit on 12 Jan 2009.
Find below a reply from the bank:

This is in reference to your e-mail dated 03/02/2009 regarding Transaction details. As per our record shows that there is no credit from EBayPaisaPay on 27/01/09. We kindly request you to check with the merchant / Service provider. This is in reference to your e-mail regarding the non-receipt of your payment done through Direct Pay to the Merchant / Service provider. The only role of HDFC Bank is in facilitating the payment. The offering / terms and conditions of the product are laid down by the Merchant. Your account has been debited and the payment has already been made to the Merchant / Service provider. For any clarifications, we would request you to get in touch with the customer care team of EBayPaisaPay, who, on your instructions, will initiate the necessary rectification.

Do let me know the status. If you say ebay has paid the amount, can you give me the reference number of 27 Jan 2009?
How do i make sure, if ebay has confirmed the payment on 27 Jan 2009? (I get the above message from bank).
What is the next step?
