I had been the victim of a fraud in the purchse of a laptop from a cheat named Pradeep Gunta. ebay has shown an extremely sympathetic and professional attitude and refunded my money - not 10000/- as per their policy, but the entire amount as a gesture of goodwill. I am amazed and truly gratified. What a pleasure it has been to deal with ebay!!

This is just one case wherein the buyer has praised after getting his due from Ebay, but there are many others who don't write on the forum after they have recieved good response from Ebay sellers or Ebay India.

We sellers as well as Ebay India would appriciate that the forum is used by buyer not only to complain but also write their views about the good experiences happening on the site.

Nice to see posting of praise. Hope to see many more in near future. Every body knows that eBay is trying to do something good. The problem is that its not always enough with so many frauds arround.

though positive sign for people like me whose disputes are under process but i failed to lcate more such positive responses from other users.
whoever comes to this thread must make a commitment that he or she will always come to community boards whenever they get a satisfactory decision from ebay dispute console.
if i get a refund of my money i will definiately come to community boards to shout and tell everybody to trust ebay.

hi..did u pay thru paisapay or thru DD / Cheque... in case of paisapay, the buyer protection is upto 50000 and in other cases 10,000. what u need to tell us here is

1. the value of the laptop
2. the mode of payment
3. the time taken by ebay
