I ordered a moto Gen 3 phone and made the payment for it on the 27th of Sep 2015. The next day the item was deleted from the ebay portal. The seller didnt ship the item. As per Ebay's so called policy, if the seller doesn't ship the item within 3 days an auto refund is initiated and the refund is made within 3 to 5 days. Unfortunately you cannot make a refund request before seven days from the date of payment or order. Now after 11 days the refund is approved and today the 9th of October, I received a mail that my refund has been approved and I would get a credit after 3-5 days if it waas a private bank and 12-15 days , if it was a nationalised bank. RIDICULOUS. Unfortunately my payment was done through a nationalised bank. The customer care department is horrible, they have nothing else to say than apologies. So if everything goes normal as ebay says I would get a refund for my money paid to ebay within about 25 days from my order/[ayment date. WOW... So ebay keeps my money for about 25 days for nothing. When it happens to a large number of customers, its like a huge amount, taken on loan from customers for about 250days INTEREST FREE.
For me its the worst ever online experience.. I have dealt with lot of online purchases and refunds, but none like ebay. Once even Amazon compensated for the delay is delivery of my goods. MY SUGGESTION: NEVER EVER DEAL WITH EBAY. ITS A NIGHTMARE... AND CUSTOMER CARE HAS NOTHING TO TELL YOU THAN APOLOGIES... LOOKS LIKE THEY ARE USED TO IT.
