I had a blind faith on this reputed NASDAQ listed eBay site.
I purchased few things before and received highly satisfactory service.
So I never bothered to read this community forum before.
As the problem started with my last purchase forced me to call Customer Care the dark side of eBay came in view full.
I took pain to read many posts here and observed something.
There is no humanly approach to solve any problems.
Everything is mechanical here.
eBay representative replies only when the issue is already solved (maybe after a prolonged time)
Or they advice to contact Customer Care.
As the Customer Care is itself horrible. What is the use of this community forum. Ultimately one cant reach higher Management and directed back to same Customer Service.
eBay guaranty is completely with the protection of money. That they do happily as more dispute means more days they can enjoy interest on that protected money.
Its not that everyone buys one item for luxury.
Its a third World country. One person may save 20000 to purchase a laptop for his child's education. Dispute fraud cheating leads not only to mental agony of the Buyer also maybe some students future is disturbed.
eBay doesn't guaranty the product delivered. There is no way to transfer the money from paisa pay to another seller to deliver the item.
All along you have to go through the pain stalking process of refund.
Now how many of us would return to eBay for the next purchase after this kind of experience.
I found eBay unable to take firm steps to throw out FRAUD CHEATERS from the site.
Its very sad. I once found very good prompt services from this site. It was a good site. It got many sincere and gentleman sellers. I found many sellers polite behaved and serious in this site.
Few Cheaters destroyed the reputation.
Both buyers and sellers are suffering due to few bad apples in the sack.
Customer Care should be more efficient and professional.
I prefer to wait and watch how Management resolves all these and restores back the reputation of our once trusted site.
