Buyers are not being charged shipping charges when the item description clearly specifies shipping charges for a particular destination. I have sent several mails to ebay but there is silence. When contacted on the phone on the toll free no. they accept the technical error but are unable to do anything. I have to ship item within 7 days whether I get fully paid or not. This is injustice since I am losing money to the courier guys.
When asked for additional shipment charges from the buyers they refuse stating that ebay does not encourage offline transactions.
Why should I be losing money for shipment. Will eBay reimburse me for the loss I am facing due to error in their software to compute the shipping charges. This is not acceptable.
