SELLERS! Which courier service you use and why???

We need to cooperate each other, Let us discuss which is the best courier service?

Some send through Bluedart! is it not too costly?
How does some sellers have Tape with eBay.in printed on it?

If possible give the tips on how to reduce shipping cost.

We use DTDC, Actually we havent tried any others.
Rates are bit high, but have not found any problem till now.
Maximum delivery time through surface also was not more than 5 days.
Its around 85Rs first 500 gms, Remaining @ Rs 50 for every 500 gms.
I can send shipment above 5 kgs through surface @ 60 per kg

For parcels worth rs. 5000 use fedex which is newly launched for domestic services. Also check aramex which is also well known brand.

We use various courier services depending upon the area.. Well to be precise now we have Bluedart mainly via eBay powership and we are more than happy with their services.

Regarding other areas, as we mentioned earlier, we use different courier services depending on the area, following information will be usefull to all:

TN & AP -- Professional

KN -- GMS

Rajasthan -- Pushpak (Rajasthan Exclusive)

Kerala -- Speed and Safe

Gujrat -- Maruti Services

Chattisgarh, Jharkand, Bihar -- Akashganga,

North East -- DTDC & First Flight

UP, Uttranchal -- Blazeflash and Overnight

J/K -- Akash Ganga

Haryana - Madhur Courier

Punjab - Blazeflash and Overnight

Of course these are for Tier II and Tier III cities. For Tier one you can use basically any courier..

Powership was a good option shown by ebay to sellers, but I doubt they are actually offering it to us. I was not selling anything on ebay as I didnt found any reliable courier, got intrested in selling again when recieved powership mail, but again No reply even after 10 days of applying for it. Ebay should understand that if powership is provided to all its sellers, we'll be able to provide items on competetive rates on ebay.
