Hi snrama,

This is one request that boards community has placed earlier as well.

Personally, I will love to have an edit feature, to correct all mistakes that I make during posting (even Pinks dont have editing rights 😞 ). However, I also agree with the reasons why we should not have an edit feature:

It makes us all more alert and consious and therefore more responsible of what we are posting on boards. I feel responsible members are a must to make our community a great place.

Besides, I have monitored boards for a while, and I feel that most times folks who post more than once is either due to mistake (can not be edited) or knowingly on different boards.

Nevertheless, the point remains that editing is a nice feature. But we might not have it any time soon. Till then if you want any post of yours to be deleted, please write to me or Ritu and request for removal. Alternatively you can also write via Contact Us link.
