Regarding abnormal rates

For the past one year whenever I visit ebay to make some purchase, the rates quoted by the ebay is abnormally higher than those we can get from shops outside, sometimes the rates are higher than the MRP. Then, what is the use of purchasing from ebay when we are getting the same thing from outside at a lesser rate. Above and those abnormal rate we have shell out shipping charge also. Please look after it and see that it will be sorted out.

ebay already takes almost 9% fee ..
so were do seller give you offer..top of it we pay shipping charges..
now the only way to give a good deal is to depend on stock clearance or dead inventory...
or to "SHOPLIFT" and sell on ebay 😉

You have not mentioned any particular item so that we can check and verify.If any item is available in the open market at cheaper rate why should you buy from ebay.I suggest buy from the market since there is no compulsion that you have to buy from ebay.

I dont agree.
Stamps are sold much cheaper than catalogue value.
Auctions are very lucrative, particularly tech items and also jewelry.
Fixed priced items may be sometimes look costly. But if it is unique item, not available easily,,well it will cost more.
Ebay is great.
