Purchasing From ebay.co.uk

I would really like to purchase a few items that are not available on Ebay India nor on GEB, but they are available on the UK site. The problem is that even though they ship to India, payment is through PayPal and not PaisaPay, so how do I pay for the products? Also, do I sign-in using my Ebay India user-id? Lastly, who takes care of customs (and additional duty payments, if necessary), etc once the products reach India?

Hi,

Here you go:

1) You can ask the seller to send you an invoice and pay via your CC or DC even if you don't have a PayPal.

2) You can sign-in to any eBay site using the same eBay User ID that you have.

3) Buyers are responsible to pay the custom duty - Not the seller. Whether a small import or a large one, only buyer pays the duty because buyer imports the item into their country.

4) Ask the seller to ship the item via Royal Mail Priority which can be tracked. It takes about 7 to 16 days to deliver from UK to India.
