The modus operandi of the Ebay.in is quite suspicious. I can't label myself paranoid when I am seeing sequence of mistakes that have started since May 2005, all leading to profit on the part of Ebay.in in an unethical way.
Take for instance, I have brought an item and I was billed twice in online bank transfer for the item# 5394744456 as I was trying to pay for it through PaisaPay, which has given me single PaisaPay ID. The billing amount was reverted after a couple of mails.
In another instance, while buying item# 5778611647 through PaisaPay, my Bank has been credited through online bank transfer, while no listing of PaisaPay ID for days. The ID begun to show up after series of vigilant e-mails to the customer support team.
By reverting the errors on e-mail request shows the questionable sincerity on Ebay.in part. It is tiresome and boring job to follow up with Ebay.in team for support when the sum of amount is so trivial as few hundreds only. I am afraid I am getting the strong feeling that Ebay.in knows this and so it takes the advantage of its previlege in a country where law takes decades to give justice and where order itself is out of order.
But on long run, Ebay.in will suffer for sure if it going in this fashion. I am loosing my interest from it and once a fan of Baazee.com now also looking in Indiatimes.com and Rediff.com also.
Recently, on 31 May 2005, at 6:19 in the morning (IST) I received a following message (below) from aw-confirm@ebay.com.
I have not had any transaction in order to qualify for the fees, although it shows.
