Dear friends,
On 26th June 2012 I had ordered 4 refurbished parts for my damaged laptop. The parts were delivered on 27th evening.
The Seller was 'Power seller' so I was sure the item would be delivered as described. But to my surprise, the 2 parts were not refurbished as mentioned. One had a noticeable big dent, and the other was broken.
Next day (28th), I immediately got in touch with the seller and he agreed to make suitable replacement. He asked me to give him 24 hrs, and he will arrange the parts. Same day I opened Claim request with Ebay to arrange pickup for replacement.
Next day (29th) the seller called me up and told me that he doesn't have suitable replacement. And that he is ready for full refund.
I have contacted Ebay Chat-support 6 times, plus 2 times I have sent emails.
For my emails there was no reply at all. As for Chat-support, you can see below
the generic responses I got each time:
# 28/06/2012 (Ravinder K): Your claim has been recorded, will be processed soon.
# 29/06/2012 (Amit P): Will escalate issue to with claim adjuster handling your claim.
# 03/07/2012 (Rupali K): Your claim has been assigned to 'Ms. Poonam', I sent a reminder to her and in next 48hrs she will contact you.
# 05/07/2012 (Akshay W): You dont worry about it. The claim adjustor is working on your case only. You will receive a call today itself.
# 06/07/2012 (Rahul S): We have already escalated this to my team. You will receive a call from my claim adjuster by day end or by tomorrow morning.
# 09/07/2012 (Nirmala H): 'She simply ended the chat session without giving me any reply'
As you can see, I am making my best effort to get in touch with Claim-adjustor. But till date I am waiting & waiting for the Claim-adjustor to get in contact.
I tried to call-up Phone support ... but even after waiting for 20mins, I was still in waiting queue ๐
I am really tired now, and am quite sure Ebay support is not at all serious.
Can anyone guide me what should I do next ? I there any direct contact number of Ebay Customer relationship manager?
