I would like to inform all member that this threshold limit of $500 is for a single transaction.
For example if you are selling saree of $ 499 or less, you will be not impacted & can continue to sell
So there is no problem

Also RBI guidelines is applicable to all payment gateways processing export related receipts & not just the PayPal.
So relax, I am sure Paypal & eBay will find out a solution soon & will update us like they have always 🙂

So even if you are selling on your own website you wont be permitted to accept more than 500$ per transaction. I am sure company like eBay will find a solution with IN government & will resolve the problem

Also if you selling less than $500, you are fine with your business.

PS:Hi,
Ebay and PayPal will find out a way to solve this riddle. But I want a specific answer to my query about multiple purchases by a single buyer, where the total exceeds 500 bucks greenback.
Because I am dependent on dollars for my bread and butter.
I am not ashamed to admit that. But some guys stash away billions in Swiss banks &c &c.
And these very people devise ways to punish small time traders Indian citizens.
His Majesty King George VI had been kind to award freedom to India and also half the world.
But Indian politicians opted for partition at the first opportunity. This opportunism evicted millions from their home and hearth and mayhem of millions of murder and rape. They did not stop there. They again enacted this scenario at Marich Jhapi, Singur and Nandygram.
I am sad to write this.

sir i do understand that our government still have certain flaws...which indeed exists in every democracy...but you cant call your own country your enemy..
1.Wat say about telecom revolution..one can get broadband internet for just 500INR(oopz 11.12$)..MNC'S like eBay came in..why???because they saw rising per capita disposable income.
2.Nuclear power (certainly i dont have to xplain)
3.Software companies getting $ in INDIA.

i think sir you have long way to know about your own country..
and instead of cribbing about your own legal system ,..better join the system and change it..and if you cant, then just dont blame it!
