Totally disappointed !

Shocked.

I received a chargeback for a 6months old transaction.
The necklace was delivered to my buyer in broken condition. six months before i was facing lots of troubles sending huge beads size necklaces.
Whenever i send them in customs checking's the people used to cut the thread of the beads necklaces and then forwards them after checking's with loose beads inside the parcel. the necklace thread was cut from the center and each bead was tested for god knows WHAT IN checking's!
but the beads were always delivered safely to all buyers.
This buyer who filled chargeback after 6mths time wrote to me that she received the necklace in broken condition i offered FULL REFUND INCLUDING THE SHIPPING COST.
WHILE I KNEW THE NECKLACE IS NOT BROKEN IT IS ACTUALLY CUT TO CHECK THE BEADS.

THE BEADS WERE ENOUGH BIG TO BE RESTRING IMMEDIATELY THERE WERE HARDLY 20 VERY BIG SIZE BEADS IN THE WHOLE NECKLACE THAT HAD BIG HOLES AND WOULD HAVE HARDLY TAKEN A 5 MIN TIME TO RESTRING AGAIN IN THREAD.

I WAS READY TO ISSUE REFUND INCLUDING SHIPPING THAT SHE PAID.
BUT TO ISSUE REFUND I WOULD HAVE ATLEAST RECEIVED THE NECKLACE OR I SAY THE LOOSE BEADS WORTH 240$ BACK ISN'T THAT FAIR ??

A NECKLACE WORTH 14,000 Rs IS STILL WITH THE BUYER.
SHE WROTE TO ME 2 MAILS TWO MESSAGES IN 6 MONTHS TIME AND AFTER THAT A CHARGEBACK (THIS CHARGEBACK AFTER 6 MONTHS TIME NO MAILS NO RESPONSE NO MESSAGES NOTHING THE BUYER SENT ME NOTHING BACK NEVER WROTE TO ME IN 6MTHS TIME)!

LOOK INTO THE MATTER A BUYER FILES CHARGEBACK :

IN CASE SELLER IS NOT RESPONDING
SELLER IS NOT ISSUING REFUND
SELLER DOES NOT TAKES RESPONSIBILITY
SELLER IS SUSPENDED

HERE I WAS READY TO ISSUE FULL REFUND FROM THE VERY FIRST DAY.
BUYER NEVER CONTACTED ME IN 6MNTS TIME.

I JUST RECEIVED 2 MAILS FROM HER THAT ALSO WITHIN 1 WEEK TIME AFTER NECKLACE DELIVERY.
TILL TODAY SHE DID NOT WROTE ME ANY MAILS.


NO DISPUTE NO EBAY ITEM NOT RECEIVED/ NOR AS DESCRIBED OPTION NOTHING SHE FILED CHARGEBACK WITH HER CREDIT CARD COMPANY FOR THE PAYMENT SHE MADE THROUGH PAISAPAY.
THE WORST AND UNSECURED WAY TO TAKING MONEY IN INDIA.

PLEASE ALL SELLERS BEWARE OF USING PAISAPAY NOW !!
IF YOU GET A CHARGEBACK THEY WILL IMMEDIATELY STOP YOUR REMITTANCE.

THEY WILL NOT PROTECT YOU EVEN IF YOU SHOW THEM DELIVERY PROOFS.

YOU SEND BUYER A DIAMOND NECKLACE IF IN CASE ITS BROKEN IN TRANSIT SHE WILL KEEP THE GOLD THE DIAMONDS AND THE MONEY AFTER CHARGEBACK FROM CREDIT CARD COMPANY.

WHY DID NOT THE BUYER CONTACTED ME BEFORE FILING CHARGEBACK ?

WHY SHE KEPT QUIET FOR SUCH A LONG TIME ?
WHY WAITED FOR 6MONTHS TIME WHY NOT IMMEDIATELY FILLED CHARGEBACK ?
AFTER 6 MONTHS ? WHAT KIND OF JUSTICE IS THIS ?

HOW AM I PROTECTED I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW ELSE I WILL ALSO HAVE TO SEE HOW DO I TAKE LEGAL HELP IN THIS MATTER IMMEDIATELY.

Dear kaya_jewels,
What happened with you is really very scary and it will discourage good seller to accept payment via Paisapay as sellers are not at all protected from chargeback(s).

We Sellers are paying high PaisaPay charges and in return we do not have any kind of protection Whatsoever....!

I know it is really painful when a fraud buyer takes advantage of loop holes of Paisapay/eBay policy and seller like you are completely helpless.

But eBay will not help you because eBay is only concern with its own income.

To make the things worst ....in coming days no seller can leave Negative feedback to buyers(even the buyer is fraud).

So,what I see is that the things will go bad to worst ...be prepared and be united.

Let me try and help you understand the reasons why your case was not covered under PaisaPay chargeback protection policy. Going by the details posted by you, I believe that the buyer raised a chargeback directly with his issuing bank. Based on Master Card/Visa chargeback programs a buyer can raise a chargeback till 60 days, and the vendor or eBay does not have any control over the same.

I would like to remind paisapay team that the payment was sent in september so its been 6 months time not 60 days time.


If a chargeback was needed or refund was needed there were other options

the buyer in period of 6 months time never contacted me for refund.

PLEASE NOTE : I FOUND THAT THE BUYER WHO RECIEVED MY NECKLACE IN BROKEN CONDITION IS A JEWELLERY DESIGNER I FOUND THIS ON SEARCHING THE WEB . SHE IS A JEWELLERY DESIGNER IN US. NECKLACE STRING GOT BROKEN IN TRANSIT NOT THE BEADS. THEY WERE SAFE AND COULD BE USED AGAIN.

SO SHE WOULD HAVE EASILY USED THE BEADS IN HER JEWELLERY SHE KEPT THE BEADS DID NOT WROTE BACK TO ME AND ALL OF A SUDDEN TO MY SURPISE WITHOUT EVEN CONTACTING ME A CHARGEBACK.

EVEN TILL TODAY SHE DID NOT CONTACTED ME.

SHE CHOOSED TO CHARGEBACK AFTER 6 MONTHS TIME WHEN SHE WAS SURE I WOULD NOT EVEN BE HAVING THE TRACKING INFORMATION AVAILABLE.

they too should let buyer know to confirm the delivery of item whn recived...70%of my buyer dont know abt how to confirm the item recipt on ebay

Has ebay forgotten about this or you still have some hopes to get back the money cheated by the buyer thru loop holes of PP rules. Pity that a seller like you is suffering so long for a cheater and also for the deplorable service of PP. .

In my opinion ebay is not suitable for high value items trading. However it gives the maximum international exposure to your products due to high traffic on the site, but the payment policies of its subsidiary payment gateways are more favoured to buyers.
This could be the one reason of high traffic over the site, but due to that genuine sellers suffer a lot , and if the item is of high value, then bagwan hi malik hai.

I just wanted to inform all sellers out of my repeated experiences that no matter what happens ebay and paisapay will always support fraud buyers.

My recent experience is a shocking Chargeback!

Buyer received the Gems!

He confirmed the receipt on My Paisapay!

He gave positive feedback to me!

I have the Proof of Delevery from United States Postal Service with his signature on it.

STILL!!!

Paisapay clearly told me that they wont be able to do anything!

Reasons:
Buyer has a P O Box address (because he is fraud).
Hence we got a valid address by ebay messages.
A copy of ebay message with address is forwarded to ebay.

Paisapay says address of delevery is different from what is given in my paisapay (i.e., p.o box address?)

PAISAPAY IS BLIND TO:
His confirmation of receipt on my paisapay.
And the positive feedback he gave us.

If delevery address is wrong then how come he confirm the receipt on My Paisapay ???
