Option to filter Importing Sellers

With the proliferation of sellers who are importing items from abroad and displaying them directly in normal search results (NOT GEB results), we need an OPTION to filter out such sellers from the normal results. Currently, the only way is by excluding specific sellers (I have a list of 6 crooks there), but it is cumbersome, and stays in effect per session. A search from the topmost search field also clears the excluded sellers list.

I'm tired of seeing outrageously priced results from these sellers, most of which lack even basic details about the item. And details aside, I don't think people are be interested in buying products which are often 15-20 times more expensive through these sellers' import listings.

Some examples are:

- cart2indiaonline
- booyahchicago
- shopabroadindia
- cart2india2010

and some more. I can't keep using the exclude sellers option all the time because it is effective per session, and gets cleared with a new session. It is not an effective option.

There has to be a persistent way of blocking these importers. Perhaps the dev team could look into a way of letting the users specify if they want to see results from importers. I used to love the long lists of uncorrupted, well priced domestic products, but now these are heavily interspersed with nearly useless results from importers.

Option to filter Importing Sellers

A good suggestion indeed. Perhaps ebay could introduce a system wherein the buyer should have an option of blocking sellers and this in turn will not show these sellers items in the search result.

It is very simple to do so but as revenue generated from the above mentioned sellers is very high, ebay will never implement such a feature.

โ–บ cart2indiaonline has 3,22,867 listings.
โ–บ cart2india2010 has 1,41,277 listings.
โ–บ booyahchicago has 12,80,478 listings.
โ–บ GEB has unlimited listings.
