I received this item yesterday, one day after the scheduled delivery date. However on opening the wrapping (will get to that later) found that the glass of the clock was broken. This is ABSOLUTELY NOT ACCEPTABLE.
I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED AT THE LEVEL OF SERVICE THAT HAS BEEN PROVIDED.
I have paid for this item 13 days ago and received the object broken. This is very sad commentary for an organisation that claims to be the best in its field.
The Packaging:
The packaging of the item was completely lacking and atrocious. The clock was delivered in a box that was just about same size as the clock. The box was sealed with masking tape. The clock was wrapped in a single layer of bubble-wrap. There was no additional protection for the box which is normally the case for glass items. Also no where on the box was the word "Fragile" mentioned, which is also a normal practice for glass items being delivered by courier. The name and address was written on the box, not typed on a sheet of paper, again normal courier practice.
It looks as if the seller has not used a good quality courier service at all, but has used a very sub-standard delivery service that does not care for the content or value of the package that it is delivering.
How does ebay associate its self with such vendors who do not have any level of quality service delivery.
I would definitely want a refund on this item immediately.
