Misleading by Sellers

Dear Sir / Madam,

I have recently seen a buyer made a posting inviting bids for Brand New Mobile phones for Rs. 3000 or less (same phones available in market for more than Rs. 15000). However later the terms say that though inland shipping is only Rs. 400 the shipping insurance is Rs. 15000 and is required. Isn't this misleading the buyers at ebay by showing them a rosy picture in the begining but trying to fool them?

Yes the buyer should read the terms and conditions but not everyone reads the fine print and later would be in for a shock. I saw and hence got saved or else would be fleeced by hands of an enterprising individual.

Regards
