Shocked to know about this, definitely it is serious and somewhat a scam look like. I just closed my eyes and thinking about troubles you are going to face to get your money back. The seller is now unregistered and closed the shop and run away...

1. Please keep safely the receipt or voucher for the amount you paid in sellers bank account. Basically the bill is your money now. If you loose this you loose all.

2. Make a XEROX or scan it and keep it. After you report to eBay they will ask for a copy. Don't send original, send copy of your payment.

3. Open a item not received dispute. And contact eBay customer support. Do it from below link...

4. Never give original payment proof to anyone until you get money. Even to Police just show and keep it with you.

How could you do this kind of stupid mistake by paying big amount for a ZERO feedback seller ?. Hopefully you will get your money, because eBay assure your payment, if you have payment proof.

I recommend you give a complaint to the nearest Police as well about the seller and details about you bought in eBay. In your town/city there is a special police available for economy/finance related crimes. Please file an FIR about the seller and send him to jail if he is not giving you the Phone or money.

To eBay :

I think it is time to wake up eBay Safety and Security team and search for < 10 feedback score sellers selling high value items like > Rs.5000, and find out the background check and suspend them. Or eBay just control the listing by checking above criteria and allow them to sell after they give self proof or credit card to prove them selves they are reputed person to sell on eBay. This is totally scam do you think Mr.Abhaydhere will come back to eBay after this. Every customer is potential for eBay and eBay need to take care them.

Well please try and understand that this is normal EBay payment verification procedure,
As you are new to ebay and you are using a credit card for 9000 Rs , So ebay needs to check that you are genuine and not a fraud.
