Is eBay too a FRAUD like Sellers ???

Hello eBayers!

I had purchased a Nokia E90 worth Rs.35999 from eBay.
I had sent a Demand Draft to the seller.
The seller turned up to be a fraud person and did not deliver me the product.
I filed a case on eBay against the seller and i was promised to be provided with Rs.9950 by Demand Draft within 30 days of the dispute closure.
It has exceeded 30 days and i have not yet received the demand draft.
I send emails regarding the DD, but they have completely disappeared since the past 2 weeks.
Not a single reply from them.

I had to compromise with just Rs.9950 even if i had payed Rs.35999.
It was my all hard earned money.
And what i get with eBay, complete LOSS !

This is SAD story. I have been waring and many sellers and buyers give waring about high valued items sold with out good feedback score many times turned to be fraud one.

Actually PaisaPay also accept DD as one of the payment method and clear the PaisaPay to seller. In that you are entitled to protected for Rs.50000. I think eBay should give a proper email to buyer when they checkout with DD or cheque, saying PaisaPay also accept the mode of payment in these formats and security for the buyer.

I recommend you to consult with eBay team with your payment proof and give a police complaint to bring the culprit to the jail. Did you make a copy of the DD before sending to the seller ?. I hope you have a proof of DD purchased as well. Better complain to Police and consult with eBay.

eBay definitely protects every buyer, please follow what eBay says.

The Security Alert For All Sellers!
I am hereby informing the directors of ebay and all sellers to be very careful about a fraud method where ebay is helpless in protecting the Sellers. The fraud is a legal person with an ebay id perin1812. She being very clever and belonging to legal field having sophisticated knowledge of legal and ebay loopholes manages to fraud with ease and ebay remains helpless. She threatens the trust department of ebay and with the help of Mr.Pyter of trust dept forces the sellers to refund her the money without return of the items purchased by her. So be very careful about this buyer and protect yourself fom such fraud. If Mr.Pyter of trust dept of ebay takes any action to strip down this message then I will be forced to inform the media and publish this in leading Newspapers. Please help me....

Ebay never verifies its sellers. Anyone with smuggled, stolen items, can offer for sale.
There are sellers with multiple ebay ids with fake addresses and contact mobile nos. Even if some of them have good feedback but why they are concealing their actual contact address ?
If ebay make it necessary to have atleast one landline number in the sellers name, then many fraud sellers can be avoided as having a landline phone estiblishes some genuinity of address.
Before any seller starts selling, ebay should personally call him/ her and should verify all the related details.

Hello eBayers !

I had been to the Mumbai eBay office today.
They maintain a very good staff of 50+
But.....none of them helped me out.
I was asked to email the eBay Customer support.
And thats what i have been doing since the past 2 weeks.
But not even a single reply from these people.

I am really fedup of eBay Customer Support.

to transfer big amount without the checking reputation & feedback is always risk .

its advice to all ebay buyers please do check the seller s feedback & reputation before any purchase & payment .

if possible please go with power seller or high feedback seller.

the claim process is long process on eaby i may takes 1 to 2 months.
