Horrendous customer service from eBay India

My customer service nightmare began when the item I ordered was the wrong model. I had ordered a laptop battery for Thinkpad T60 but got one for T40 instead. I raised a claim and today after over 10 days I am struggling to even find a way forward. I am on verge of giving up because it is near impossible to contact customer support since the wait time is huge. After ten days I was told that a proof is needed, if only proof was made mandatory while filing complaint then I would not have to wait for over 10 days to figure it out. I have resigned to the fact that I lost INR 1300 and move on. Not even sure if any action would be taken on this claim but I am off eBay for good. RIP.
