Dear Snrama,
I totally agree with you. So many are registering like this and giving trouble to sellers, and making loss for us. For example if you are seller listing just 1 item you have to pay Re.1 fees now, then you loose Rs.1 unnecessarily becuase of this useless purchase. eBay should read the address and reject fake buyers like this to save sellers.
You can restrict this kind of buyers in your preference by blocking all non-phone verified buyers with feedback score 0.

Dear Snrama,
I have noticed one strange thing in eBay buyer requirement management. What ever condition i have set for buyer requirement before is blank now (eBay reverted back settings without seller's notice). Basically anyone can buy from my shop with out phone verificaiton. Becuase i blocked customer having feedback 0 and not registered phones, due to the same reason you are reporting now. Please check and setup your system.
Any answer from eBay about this bug ?
Kind regards,
CoolBrasCo.

Hi CoolBrasCo,
We are aware of the Blocking Preferences. In spite of blocking such buyers they override the preferences and buy the item and end up with UPI. They also get verification for SMS process and register to eBay successfully.
As soon as a new user sign up to eBay its the duty of eBay Safety Team to check for the new user, whether the user is genuine or not. But why should eBay take this much trouble, they just want various Fees in every step from the sellers, thats all.

Hi CoolBrasCo,
I have set the Buyer requirements. But I don't block most of the buyers. Most of my customers are new users and I can't block them. We should believe other people.
One of my customer made the order. He sent the cheque dated 25th April 07 and when I asked him about this, he told that his salary will be credited only by then and he wants the product desperately though a it becomes a little delay. Thats how business and trust happens.
See the above mentioned user ordered for fun.. I need to wait for 14 days to get back my Rs.35/- FVF.
The problem is we need to wait for half-month (14 days) to get back the FVF Credits and its really a long time.
I have listings with 2 - 5 qty, 1 qty got wasted and some genuine buyer would have purchased it and made the payment.
eBay team is working hard to reduce UPI, We should give suggestions to improve rather than blaming them.
Regarding your issue, You need to set the Buyer Requirements in Turbo Lister, so that only you will get more genuine buyers. ---------------
