Hey friends i am from chattisgarh India. I am New Here And I just Want To Know that
i have seen a product i.e a headphone on ebay.com
and it is of 35$ and the shipping and handling 9.99$ that is the final cost will be aproxx 46$.the seller says that they will send by air and i have to pay from paypal and it will reach you in 10-21 days.not a problem.but will it reach here to my adress and what about the coustums can some one tell...is it safe to buy or not:-)please friends reply soon. thanks

Hello, Its safe to buy from ebay.com unless you buy insurance or else the parcel may lost in transit, resulting to wait for approx 45 days then you will need to file case then your either money will be refunded or seller may reship the item.So its better to buy insurance always. If you buy insurance then you will get a tracking number so that you can track the parcel(Only partial tracking available)
For insurance you need to ask the seller and you will need to pay extra 1$ or 2$ depends on the item weight & price.

It means that the headphone costs 2000 rupees approximately. Are you sure you wont get the same for 1/4 the price here in India?

@Plsy2k .No friend HERE IN INDIA THESE HEADPHONES ARE NOT AVAILABLE AND IN EBAY.IN they are available for 5000rs .....And @sankets2009 what about the coustoms here in India .is There any problem.

If the seller ships the item as merchandise and declares a higher value then you will have to pay custom duties to post office at the time of delivery.
but since your price is lesser you can ask your seller to send it as gift. This is the only option but its not a 100% guarantee that customs wont be charged.It all depends on the custom officer. I even bought 100$ item but i was not charged and once they charged me for 25$ item price around 50rs. So if you want any item and if you like it available cheaper go buy it. ebay.com items are always cheaper than ebay.in according to my experience.
