Ebay India ignoring customers

Hi,

I have purchased a 3G modem in march'2011 with Paisa pay id 28658796670. I used a free gift code HOLIFEST02 (iball headphones) during the purchase. I was told by ebay representative that the gift item would be delivered within 45 days.

Now it is over 70 days and I haven't received the gift item yet.

I even tried contacting customer care .... but still they need "more time / don't have an update". I don't understand whether these guys have a time sense at all (do they understand the difference between 45 days & 70 days ...!! )

It is obvious to see in these forums that whoever is making a request for delivery of their free items, they are being ignored completely by Ebay India staff and they tend to be attending other queries which don't request a free item.

I am just writing this feedback in a hope that someone responsible would have a look at it and act accordingly ...!!

To ebay:

The only topic of discussion on the forums nowadays is "gift not received". Out of 9 topics displayed on the forum page, 7-8 are for gift not received. Do something about it ebay, why cannot you call up buyers and keep them informed or send them a mail or provide a dedicated contact number to these buyers where they can call and get the required info or the best as suggested is to stop the free gift business completely till you can do it properly.

Just because of this important topics are not displayed and discussed on the forums. All the space regularly is being taken up by these free gift buyers.
