Ebay Gourmet store.....Great initiative but HIGH SHIPPING CHARGES

Hi,

I would like to appreciate the adddition of international food items on your gourmet store, daily.ebay.in.

I really loved the accessibility of ording my favorite mayo, pasta etc. Unfortunately, this does not last long since you started charging exorbitant shipping fee on these products which make them kind of nonviable to buy from ebay. Tell me why would I buy a pasta from ebay at 170 (MRP) + 85 (shipping charges) when I get the same product at Rs.170 at my neighbourhood store. Yes but if its is available with free shipping I will still order from ebay because of convenience, variety etc.

So, please evaluate the high shipping charges on gourmet store. You should get away with this soon.

Hello

You must be knowing that the margins on these items is around 10% only. There are ebay fees also that have to be paid.

There is no way any seller can make profit if he is paying shipping from his own pocket.

These products might be suitable for those buyers who cant get them at their local neighbourhood stores and thus are willing to pay more for shipping.
