I just received my carnival gift i.e. Micromax Mobile q1+ without any bill in the box..
I chatted online with eBay customer care and they said that the gifts are not provided with bill/invoice.. This is really weird.. Why don't you provide gift with bill when you send brand new product as gift ? Do you not pay taxes on the gift items ?
If you do not provide bill, how will customer be able to avail any warranty or guaranty from the manufacturer ?
Further, if you do not provide bill on gift items, why don't you mention the same either in FAQ or Terms and Conditions concerning the gift offers ?
This is unethical code of business conduct and it should be clearly mentioned as why you couldnot provide any bill.. Or the seller who ship gift products on the behalf of eBay doesn't pay taxes on those items ?
