Duplicate product(Bose QC15 headphone)

Hello,

I don't know whether this post help me or other buyers.

Few days back I ordered one Bose QC15 noise cancelling headphone, as I am currently in Germany my friend received the product at Bangalore. The shipment was done on time so I gave a good feedback to the seller. Now I am revealing that the product is a replica and not a original BOSE product.

I payed around 9000 rupees for nothing(I can say a cheap Chinese replica), The noise cancelling is not working, the battery is used only to glow the LED.

I don't know who is cheating the seller or EBAY??

I can blame both... But come on this is my hard earn money please don't cheat..

I will never buy anything from Ebay, I think other sites are better and trust worthy..

I request all the buyers not to buy Bose QC 15 from the seller "onerupeeauction(p k bhatia)"

And also I request Ebay to maintain their standard and trust.

@prem_anand143....sad to say that though you are in Germany you fall prey to such gimmicks. Original Bose QC15 MRP is around 18000/- and you paid 9000/- odd, did you do any research on the cost, the seller also appears shady as most buyers have claimed to have received counterfeit products and still you have purchased a cheap replica. Always remember that if the deal is too good then it is surely not good.

Now just open an ebay guarantee claim and ask for a refund as you have received a counterfeit product and you will get your money back.

@rajelectroniks : I thought EBAY is not entertaining the duplicate products. Because it may hamper their business. But now I can say we should not blindly trust. May be its a learning experience for me not to buy anything from EBAY.

By the way I had purchased the product on 28th Feb 2013 and as I am currently in Germany I got the headphone yesterday only(my wife brought with her), now can I claim the EBAY guarantee for this product?

See understand the working model of ebay. It is like a big super mall where anybody and everybody can setup a shop, it is upto the buyer to decide judiciously what to buy. It is neither right nor sensible to blame ebay in this matter.

You can file an ebay guarantee claim only for 30 days from date of purchase, login to your account and see if the date has expired or not.

Lets see whats the outcome.

And yes you are right the buyer has to take care while buying a product.. But I can say Flipkart also working on the same principle and they are also giving nice attractive offers(I bought a refrigerator and a washing machine with good price and genuine product ) and they are really maintaining quality and customer satisfaction.

Flipkart is different they are sourcing the products themselves and selling it directly, there you do not have vendors who setup their shop to sell wares like you have on ebay. ebay does not buy or sell or stock anything.

Yes you will get your refund back and be prepared to send the item back to the seller when you are requested by ebay.

By nature we are being facinated by great deals but at the same time we also need to understand that no one sells at a loss. The golden rule is to first findout the average market rate and than check the seller's reputation and than finally dicide to buy.

@apsmatharoo: Ya you are right.. I always do that but this time I took a chance(as I was bidding).. and its a new experience.. I can say the conclusion is if you want to buy a expensive gadget then go for a authorized dealer, pay some more and enjoy the product..

Could not get the money back.. suggestion : don't buy a product with attractive deal...
