Defnitely a fraud

Hi,

I have an item listed for sale - HP iPAQ. The day I listed it, a member bought it. This member was from Gujrat and currently in UK. He wanted me to ship it to Nigeria to one of his friend and told me that he would be paying through Pay Order of Western Union. He issued the Pay Order and send me the scanned copy. When I got it verified in Delhi, I was informed by Western Union that the Pay Order is false and the same pay order has been issued in favor of 5 different persons. I denied to complete the transaction as I was interested in selling this item with a payment option of Pick up and pay.

Later when I relisted this item, the same buyer again bought it under different name and with the same story once again of Gujrat and UK and the item to be delivered in Nigeria. I immediately responded to him saying that I cannot ship it. Since he resliased that I am the same seller, he did not further got into any discussion with me.

The most interesting part, both the times, the person disappered from ebay and is no longer registered.

Beware of this guy, he is definitely a fraud and trying to foll the first time seller.

Hi,

Most of them has faced similar problems. I advice you to not to send until you get the payment.

Also eBay should post an announcement about this as it is been more now days. ---------------
